I offer private and very small group classes. The different classes are based on skill level and experience, but will be tailored to the individuals interests and goals.

  • Fill out the brief contact form and tell me what you’re interested in.

From there we will schedule a phone call or preferably, local meetup to discuss in detail your experience, level, as well as what skills and knowledge you would like to gain. During our conversation we will figure out what class or classes would work best and then I will start planning a customized class just for you.

Each session will be heavily customized to your individual skill level and interests. The classes and add-ons I have listed are meant to provide a broad idea of what will be taught for those who want to learn but don't have a specific goal in mind.

Please contact me with any questions or concerns that you may have.

All prices listed are for private 1 on 1 classes

Small group classes (2-3 people) are mostly for couples, friends, father and son or mother daughter type relationships. Occasionally, when two people are very close in skill level and interests there will be an option for a group class which will be at a lower rate.

  • 2 Days 14-16 hours $500

If you have very little or no experience with the tools used for woodworking, then this class will primarily focus on tool safety and usage. We will go over information about each tool and ensure that you can not only use the tool safely but also understand why we use certain tools and various blades and bits for different tasks.

If you have some experience with these tools, this class will reinforce basic safety practices and delve into some more advanced techniques and uses of the various tools.

The second main topic in this class will be project planning. We will touch on design, vocabulary, functionality, joinery, material selection and management, as well as the order of operations. All of these will be discussed at a basic level to help make sense of why we are doing things.

All students will complete at least one small project as well as have hands-on experience with many partial assemblies to help understand various joinery options.
